Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, EDTA is a transparent, water-soluble compound first synthesized in 1935. It belongs to a class of molecules called chelators, from the Greek word chelé, meaning “claw” that bind / chelate metals. EDTAs have a similar mode of action to organic chelates, as they essentially neutralise the charge of the metallic cation (zinc, copper, manganese and copper, which removes any capacity for ionic reactions. This ensures zero soil adsorption (lock up) and removes tank mix reaction risk.

Affinity Precision EDTA and Precision Liquid Copper are unique formulations that are extremely effective and compatible with most agricultural chemicals.

Our precision EDTA range sets itself apart from other EDTA products on the market in that it also contains kelp and fulvic acid. In fact the application of Affinity Precision product at 1kg per hectare is the equivalent of applying 1lt of Arcadian Kelp (Ascophyllum Nodosum) and 200ml of fulvic acid liquid per hectare.
